Plunger chamber dispensing valves
Sbmeto One-Shot Valves are designed to dispense low to high-viscosity materials. The valve comprises two parts, preventing material from entering the drive cylinder and hindering valve needle movement. A special double-lip seal ensures a tight seal around the valve needle. The shot size is adjustable via the stop screw of the metering needle.
The volume-controlled cycle begins when compressed air is applied to the valve's "filling" control port. The valve needle moves upwards, filling the metering chamber with material.
Applying pressure to the "positive displacement" control port drives the piston downward. The valve needle's downward movement dispenses material from the chamber. Upon reaching the bottom position, the valve needle closes the discharge opening, stopping material flow.
Sbmeto one-shot valves can be operated pneumatically or electrically using a compressed air solenoid valve. This versatility makes them suitable for manual applications with a handle and fully automated processes.
